Very doubtful. On a 9" rim, you should go with a 245 as a bare minimum. Even so, you should check the manufacturer's recommended max rim width.

 

235/55? No way. Maybe if you got the 17 x 8 version, but not on the 17 x 9.

 

are there any wheels that are the same as these but will fit stock tires for sure? If so could you please post where you found them. Thanks

 

dude you dont want 17x9's up front anyway. anything 17x7.5 would be a very comfortable fit for the factory tires and 17x8 wont be bad either but 17x9 up front=looks like ***. just remember even though we have RWD cars we need FWD offset or the wheels WILL stick out of the wells. What I would like to know is how wide I can go in the rears with the stock *rims* (machined alum., 17x8's).
My problem is the opposite of V8 Aggie's... I want to keep the stock rims, but would like more rubber on the rears.

I'm not a big wheels guy, so I don't know what'll fit, and I don't really feel like dropping a grand for a set. Also, I don't want to create another thread just for wheels.
