Rear window blurry after tint

How long ago did they apply it? Tint takes about 30 days to dry completely.
But I've never had this issue myself. I've got 5% on the back and 35% on the sides and have no blurry anything in any windows. I've never heard of that film but it would be my guess thats where the problem lies. I'd be willing to bet it turns purple in a year.

as the friend of a guy that owns a tint shop and has spent many days in one let me give you my .02....
when the tint is put onto the car they use a solution most of the time a diluted soapy water. the soap is added so once the tint is on they can move it to the exact position and squeegee the water out from under neath it. For the first week you will see bubbles in the tint film that are fairly visible. These will eventually shrink to tiny spots... this is the water evaporating. A week after the the tint adhesive will be setting or "curing" as it is called by others. during this time it will look like a layer of dust has settled on your window causing a haze or blur... I would give it another week or so because i have 15% all around with no problems. If it hasn't cleared up in 3-4 weeks then get it swapped or removed. Sounds more like a set up process rather then an install error...

Thanks all for the input. 08blackoutstang your .02 makes sense. Ive researched Johnson films and they are warrantied, the install shop has been in business for over 5 years and tints for several car dealers locally, Infinity, Lexus etc. and is standing behind the install with an offer to re do it. Think I'll wait another couple weeks as you suggested and see whats up when the drying process is complete. I've since looked at other cars (not Mustangs) with tint thats been on a while, and no issues like I have, so maybe mine just isn't dry yet?

Define Recently?
It takes time for it to clear up.
Almost 30 days if a lot of dish soap was mixed into the water during application.
What brand did he use?
If it is quality, he will spout out the name pronto, quite proud like.
If it is crap, he will ho hum around and give you a bull**** line...
I have Luminar Metal Film on my vehicles and it really looks nice and holds up well.
Did ya get the moleskin at the same time?
