Double check by removing the air filter then making a quick WOT blast to replicate the conditions. The filter should reduce all restriction on the intake and not allow the intake to collapse.

I could, but the advantage of the Extreme setup is that I get a new MAF as well, as my current one is pretty close to maxing out.

Chris, I really don't want to do a WOT run without something there to block stuff from getting into the intake/engine.
