To avoid name confusion, these are the exact parts I have on the car. I'm still using the stock H-pipe.

To those that had a laugh at my thread, lol. Glad you enjoyed it.

I've had some more time to listen to the exhaust on the way home. It sort of reminds me of a WRX I had, but bigger sounding with lots of drone. To those loving their Pypes Violators (sounds like a brand of catheter), awesome! I wish I did too.

My Pypes Midpipe and X worked fine. Had to weld the one joint because the clamp would not squeeze it enough. No rattles happy camper.

Have those rednecks put muffler deletes in, then have them weld in Magnapacks mid-muffler style, it sounds great.

Hey, I'm a redneck with a weird accent that work on exhaust as well, I just don't smoke yet.

Anyway, not surprised about replica's Saga... After all, he's using replicas.
Seriously, I have yet to see a PYPE product worth a schit.
Some folks get lucky and have an non-stressed experience, but overall, it's worth looking into another company for a few more monies.

I have the same thing. I had the shop tack weld one joint because Pype's clamp is inferior to Ford's.
Other than that, they sound great with no drone!

Same thing here. Had an exhaust shop weld the cats rather than using the clamps. I got a good deal on my catted X. Only paid $300 new. I bought it from someone who couldn't use it because he went with a turbo set-up and the x-pipe wouldn't work.

I guess it's not just Pypes...last week I installed a set of Corsa Extreme axle backs and the drivers side rear hanger was off so far I had to have a muffler shop cut it off and weld in a new one. The shop tech and I figured it must have been a "Friday @ 4:45pm" built muffler as the rear hanger was simply welded straight up...no bends at all.

ditto

no issues at all with Pypes

(try installing long tubes on a 4th gen Z28 and you won't complain about Pypes)
