fwiw, if i get a 2011 5.0, i would FI it.
question: for a heavily modified 5.0 GT are u saying the 3.15 gears could be the best bet instead of the 3.55 gears ?
thinking of getting an auto - but since gear changes are so cheap on this car i could swap out for the best gearing.

Yes, force feed the 5.0 if you get one at your elevation.
With the auto, 4.10 gears have the very similar ratio as the manual does with 3.55's
So if you do get an auto, consider either the 3.73 gears for good mixture of extra acceleration and still keeping decent gas mileage.
Honestly, though I'm not sure, if you s/c it, anything more than the 4.10's might mean too much wheelspin, especially with the auto as 1st gear in the auto is incredibly short. So go either 3.55's or 3.73's.
