Default Does your convert leak?

Im top is starting to leak, but only when I use a power washer. Should I think about getting it fixed or do most converts have this problem?

My buddy had a 98 GT and his leaked, mines an 06, I just got it and after about 5 washes Im getting a leak by the passanger window. Should I do anything?

Is it the window leaking or are you getting water on the floor by the passenger kick panel? There is a chronic water leak issue that is documented/described in one of the TSB's listed in the stickies. If left unchecked, it'll eventually cause the SJB to fail and replacement is NOT pretty.

Mine has never leaked under normal wet conditions, although it has only seen rain once or twice. But if you are getting some leakage over the top of the window when hitting that area with the pressure washer, that might be normal. I took mine through a touchless car wash once and saw the same thing.

I've gotten caught in a few rain storms and mine does not leak at all....maybe you should refrain from using the power washer? The pressure on those things can be harmful in some instances.

Ive never noticed anything on the floors. Its only happeded when Im washing her. I can see drops of water going down the window on the inside. I just would fix it now if its going to get worse.

Mine's only seen rain like once but it does get washed weekly during the summer. Occasionally a very small amount water does get in around the windows depending on the direction of the water but never enough that I'm really concerned about it.

If I use a power washer I will get a small leak above the door windows at the weather stripping. I think it's where a hing on the top frame comes together, and 2 pieces of rubber weather stripping butt together. Not enough to be concerned about. I'd go check but the tops been down for about 3 weeks.
