pdonket, that's what I mean by "in defense of". I paid the same as you and you have a newer/more featured/more powered car. I have a Pioneer Avic D3 but would much rather have the Sync electronics package....and the new 2011 GT! But, what I have was the best going at the time. Kudos to Ford for enhancing and improving their cars. It's a great time to own a Mustang as have been the past 5-6 years.

I think in any case we're all quite lucky around here . I think the best part about the 11's is that although they certainly are upgraded powerhouses in a bunch of departments, the "older" mustangs are still some incredible cars. And I'm hoping that Ford and the other American manufacturers keep up the heat and keep pushing the limits!

And best part about our mustangs is that if you work on them and keep them looking beautiful (which us fanatics do), they're still just as kicka$$ as the day you picked them up! I really admire all of the 05s to 09s around here, some absolutely gorgeous cars.

Drove a new 11 GT today! Lots of spunk!

Made me seriously consider doing an upgrade! But decided to mod my Steeda more!

Congrats on the new wheels! Great drivers experience!!! Lots of get up and go for a stocker!

Ford did good! :-)

Decking this car out for $40,000 or so is an amazing deal for the power and how you can spec the interior.

I agree. I hate to think about how much my Steeda has cost me. And now I am doing shocks/struts, Tune and then a SC.

As nice as it is, I couldn't bring myself to spend $2,700 on a glass roof

It's worth it to me. It'll be my first expensive mod.

If I had the money to do it I would pull the trigger without even thinking.

Can you please link me to these people complaining about the price of a 2011 5.0 so I can mock them mercilessly? who are these people? iroc and fox body owners? I paid about 25k for mine brand new at the end of 2007.
