Default 2011 6-speed trans issues

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I am having some small issues the 6-speed in my new 2011 gt. I'm sure it is something small, and i am taking it in to the dealer next week, but i wanted to get some clues as to what might be the problem. Here it is. When i am in reverse and push the clutch in to shift out of gear, i get a clunking sound when depressing and releasing the clutch pedal. I get the same thing sometimes when downshifting into second. I have not had these problems with my other vehicles with manual trans. am i looking at a clutch issue or a trans issue with gear sycro's?

I appreciate any insight. Thanks...

Yea i posted i'm also having issues with my 6-speed. Grinding of gears, especially third. Have had no problems with reverse but from 1-3 severe grinding and sloppy transmission feel.... Took it to ford and the response i got was "oh my 03 GT does it all the time, you have to wait for it to warm up and for all the fluid to circulate" ...no buddy, not on a brand new car haha. so my car goes in next week. and also because of my severely squeaky driver seat...

I'm sorry, you have to wait for the fluid to circulate in your manual transmission? Sound like Ford might have picked a bad bidder to build there new transmissions as well??? I don't know, it just seems like every week or so you see a new post in here about a new person having a transmission issue on there 05+. The assumption was with the new transmissions being made it was going to stop on the 11+ but apparently they didn't learn from there mistakes? Either that or we have the 2 unluckiest people owning a 2011 in this thread.

My V6 Auto is having an issues with 1st to 2nd gear. with both accelerating slowly and gunning it. occasionally Ive heard a clunking noise. If it continues for a few more days I'm going to take it to the dealer...

Anyone else having this issues as well in there V6 ? like these guys are with there V8's.

when I've had the windows down and radio off I can hear the transmission 'clunk' into gear, its usually going between reverse and first, but thats normal.

Otherwise no problems on the v6 6mt. Though, both v6 and gt have the same trannies, both manual and automatic

Also, I don't think getrag is a 'bad bidder' they make some of the best transmissions out there.

as far as miss shifts I know that my car benefitted greatly from the k-member brace with torque limiters, no more missed shifts. try some Redline MTL as well, that's made a noticeable difference in all my cars, one of my first mods when I get a car.
