I just got more wonderful news from my Ford dealership today...It's been 6 weeks since I ordered my new 5.0 and today I'm getting news that I still don't have my VIN, and it "should" be in production next week.

He's giving me an estimate of another 6 weeks wait until I get the car.

I'm just about ready to blow a gasket at this rate and honestly don't even know what to do. What would you guys do at this point? Cancel and find one on another lot? Anything I should ask or say to this dealer? I just really don't know what to do...my issue is that I'd love a grabber blue mustang but honestly the wait is killing me.

I appreciate all the advice you guys can give me

Just wait it out man, same thing happened to me, and it was worth it in the end. Especially since I couldn't afford anyhting more expensive haha

Why is it taking so long? I've been reading a lot of this. I also notice all the ford dealers around here don't have a big stock of 2011 still.

Are they trying to sell their 2010s up first?
