Default 05-09 differences

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of all changes by year from the 05 to the 09 mustangs? I'd like to compare my '09 to my friend's '05 and see if there's much difference.

One important difference starting in the 2nd half of 08 models - the spark plugs (and also the threads in the heads that hold them) are different. This change was made in 08 because earlier model mustangs had spark plugs breaking half in two upon attempts at removing or changing them.

Having a spark plug stuck inside the head will ruin a person's day. VERY glad I don't have that worry in my 08.

The 05 and 06 had an option for the aux jack for the radio. The 07-09 were made standard. The glass roofs didnt come in till 08 or 09.

The 2005's had faulty driveshaft retainer clips that could back out after a few highspeed runs over 100 or just one.

For 08 or sometime prior at some point, they deleted mid-pipe hangers because they were a source of noise/vibration. I think 08's started undercarriage insulation around the tranny.

Very few differences. The list of applicable TSB's went down as the model got older.

Ain't that the truth, just something else to worry about.

My 06' has an exhaust vibration noise. But I didn't have it until I changed the mufflers. I need to go back under and take a look and see if I can see where it's maybe hitting the body. Only at some rpm's will it do it. Sometimes can be annoying. I don't know if that's the exhaust problem that's indicated in this thread.
