Does a warranty cover nitrous? Or are you putting in another engine and then giving it to them?

And I wouldn't go with another 4.0. Might as well go with a 4.6 or better if you have the $$ and resources

Same broken engine but there wont be any nitrous on it when they get it. They might think so but they cant prove it. Plus with this bad economy Ford would love to do it because they get paid for warranty work. My buddy blew his motor in his 09 wrx and he told subaru everything he did to it(new exhaust, no cats, bigger turbo, more boost, ect) which all voids the warranty but they covered it anyways. Plus i know a guy at ford that will hook it up.

Maybe so but ill read the warranty contract and see what it says about them thinking i probably had a power adder. I think if they cant prove anything they they have to warranty it.

Hmm that's what's up then. Just from my experience dealerships will try to screw you over in anyway possible and if they find ANY way not to cover something, they won't. Best of luck

^ reason why dealers give mustang owners a hard time with repairs.

Sucks about the motor but frankly thats fraud.

Just don't give them your forum name or post your real name on the forum hehe. And don't mention what dealership you're taking it to.

Even then a smart dealer might find pictures of your ride on the forum and make the association between this post and yourself.
