Catastrophic failure :(
I have no intention of being anyones judge or jury, yet I am more than a little surprised (ok, appalled is closer) that someone who has a badge (that at the very least suggests they are some part of law enforcement) in their signature is actually considering taking this sort of route to fix engine damage that he has admitted was completely his fault.
If I cant afford to (or dont want to) pay for damage I was to possibly do to my car or engine at a drag strip, then I wouldnt take it there. Whether someone can 'hook me up to get free repairs' or not.

I agree, your dishonesty tarnishes that badge.

FWIW when my engine blew, there were no signs it was from detonation or anything. If he blew his from over-revving, it will simply look like over-revving. Unless his tune was ALSO off and was leaving deposits on the pistons.
CHANGE YOUR OIL!!!!
They may do a UOA and when nitrous is detected in the oil your warranty is void.
and I would like to add....
Any one of you guys would attempt to get something replaced under warranty even if you knew it wasn't covered due to neglect. Don't even lie and say you wouldn't if you thought you had the chance to make someone else pay for your mistake.
