Default A/C HELP!

Hey guys, I've trying to figure out this ac problem here but have had no luck and it's hot as hell right now in FL. If anyone has had this issue or can shed some light I would really appreciate it!!! Basically about a month ago, I noticed that the passenger side vents were producing colder air than the driver side. I ignored it for about a week until the driver side vents went completely hot. Shortly after the passenger side vents followed. I went to autozone and got the refrigerant refill system with the guage and went to town. I followed the instructions and my AC was fine again. A few days later it ran out of cold air, so I filled in the remainer of the refrigerant and same thing happened (cold for a few days and back to hot).

I've been asking around and searching these forums to see if anyone else has had this problem, but most problems seem to be with the time involved to freeze out or the ac power settings not adjusting. I'm guessing I have a leak somewhere. I don't know the degree of difficulty involved in fixing a leak in the system, but I would like to attempt to fix it myself if possible. Does anyone have any info to this problem or maybe a diagram I can follow for a solution. Thanks a lot in advance!

Sounds like a leak. The re-charge kits usually have colored dye to find leaks easily. If yours didn't, pick up one with dye and if the AC stops working again, check under the hood for the dye residue at the spot where the leak is.

Ty Graypony, I didn't know if the one I originally bought had the dye included. Guess I'll pop my hood and check it out. I'll keep everyone updated. Thanks again.
