umiperformance uca install issues
i installed umiperformance uca bracket and adjustable uca with roto-joint. the u part on the uca is hitting on a round molded stud on the front half of the pumpkin surrounded by some other small rivet looking studs on the pumpkin. i used the top bolt on the uca bracket and with the hole side down on the u side of the uca to give me the most clearance. the round molded stud is on the front of the mount on the pumpkin. can i grind this off along with the other small rivet looking studs? i had already installed these parts and i got a thumping noise when i hit bumps and i thought that if i put the uca bolt thru the top hole on the uca bracket it would give enought clearance but i was wrong.
check your uca!! see if that stud is hitting your uca or if you have the clunking sound in your suspension after installing the new uca. mine was hitting the uca and was clunking!!
