Default tune and intake on 2010?

So from what I read this is the best bet for any performance on V6 without dropping a new engine or supercharger on the 4.0.

Is there any difference noticeable difference between the tuners and the intakes? If so what are you guys running with the best results?

Anyone ever have any issues once these items are added ie: not running properly, not running at all, etc? I also assume that this would void the warranty for any issue directly related to these products. Side note I have the 100k warranty.

Any other commments or thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks as always!

The only way your warranty can be voided legally is if the aftermarket part caused the failure/break/whatever. As far as which CAI..Pick the one out of the top brands that looks good to you, they aren't much different performance wise.

There's C&L, BBK, FRPP, JLT and probably a couple others I can't think of this moment that are all about equal for the 4.0. I personally have the C&L and love it. Never had any mechanical issues.

My only regret was getting the diablo tuner instead of the SCT simply because of the custom tunes for life that bamachips offers through americanmuscle.com. But you're gonna get alot of preference opinions. Just buy the one you think looks good under your hood.

Read thru the forum. Tons of threads on this.

AM and Brenspeed write some of the best tunes and have excellent customer service.

The CAI's are all equivalent in performance and the tune is about 75%-80% of the power adder. Buy what suits your eyes and wallet.

A CAI & tune will not void your warranty but some wusses.... I mean folks... are easily intimidated by the dealer and will replace the stock airbox and tune when they cower... I mean, take the car back to the dealer for any work.

Most problems, IF any, are easily resolved via e-mail. But there are no permanent issues that I've noted on the forum in over 3 years that I've been following folks threads.

Just do it. You won't regret it.
