Default E-Brake Options

Hey guys,

So while I was home on R&R and getting a new battery. I decided to go check out the new 2011. They had a bunch available but I drove in a black one, manual, and GT obviously. I really just wanted to see how that new engine was.

A quick little review, I kept an open mind on the exterior/interior but found some things I didn't like and some things I did like. I think my interior is much better, while the quality of materials in the newer Mustang were definitely superior. The dash on the newer mustang, although it looks like it's real aluminum it just didn't look appealing at all. Anyway, the e-brake however was really small and leather clad, etc...

Then I went ahead with putting in my DVD/NAV unit and you have to remove the center console top and get it up and over the E-brake.... and our E-brake in comparison is huge and bulky with the rubber grip. So question is, what are our options as far as replacement? Probably not many, but would be nice if we could have something similar to the 2010+ Also, my rubber piece for the e-brake is really crummy too but I don't see an easy way to replace that. I notice on the 2010+ that there is a leather cover instead of the rubber there as well. (Redline goods, isn't an option for me... stuff reminds me of an old man's ball sack, no offense but it's just my opinion.)

Thanks.

Just get a pistole grip or something similar chrome, aluminum cover that goes over the stock rubber on the E-Brake.
