new short block help
broke it by starting it and letting it run 15 minutes checking everything and making sure things were good. Then i drove it around town for 50 miles. Then drove mostly in town but some highway miles. For the first 800 miles never saw boost. From 800 to just over 1000 miles i saw 2# boost twice for about 3 seconds.I used vr1 oil with high zinc. Just as JDM asked.
really sounds like 2 problems man.
White smoke screams water, and thus head gasket.
Oil soaked plugs indicate bad piston rings.... OR if your lucky.... do you have a catch can installed? with that much boost you might as well be squirting oil down your valves.

Well with that amount of boost, the oil on the plugs could easily be associated with not having one. I can not believe no one has told you to get one with the money you have put into that, or the power level your at. A stock car will pass oil back to the intake, any boosted application should have one, and the higher boost you go, the more oil is going to come back in your intake. I'm leaning toward head gasket caused the white smoke, and plugs MAY be coincidental, that were only found cause you went looking.
