I would say tune first. Cause the AM/Bama Race tune will def amaze you.
Then when you get gears just change the gear ratio.

For an auto, YOU NEED a tune to adjust the shift points for the 4.10 gears. Order the tuner and the gear set. You won't be able to use the tune unless you order it without the updated 4.10 and then have Bama write you another one, but that takes processing time. I don't know what turnaround they have, but that's the info you need there.

4.10 + auto = win

Just make sure you have tires that can grip or you'll be spinning.

You'll need the tune to take advantage of the new gears. You also need the tune to take advantage of what you already have.... So get the tune. The Bama tune is perfect for an auto, with or without gears....it will be like driving a different car. Gears without the tune will make a noticeable change... but the tune will make an even bigger difference out of the box.

Well if you do any highway driving 3.73s are the way to go. You definatly need a tune first though. If you get one of the bama tunes from American Muscle, it will let you adjust for 4.10 gears later on. Or, you might want to wait and just save up for both at the same time, so you can REALLY feel the difference.

Good choice! I have a 2010 Auto and the tune makes a big difference in everyday driveabillity! I mean, it's not just for racing and added torque and horsepower...the transmission shifts soooooooo much better without doing the constant slipping and searching. It also idles smoother. I picked up my kids from school the other day and was able to coast along at 20mph without the usual surging from the tranny every time I applied a little throttle...it just held gear and cruised. Then there's the performance; it shifts nice when driving easy but at WOT it's hard and fast and you can chirp w/ every shift. You might feel differently but I don't personally feel the need or desire to upgrade the gears in mine.
