Installing Guages, Wiring Issues
Ok guys, my friend and I have been working on installing my Autometer boost gauge and Innovate A/F ratio gauge. The boost gauge is done, a pretty simple install. The power wires are hooked up to the "Info, Setup, Reset" buttons right under it, and it seems to be working great (gauge comes on with lights).
Now the problem we ran into today was hooking up the A/F gauge to power, and also hooking up the LC-1 A/F controller to the gauge and to power. They each need a 12V switched source. The cigarette lighter would be a good option, but it does not turn off with the car so the gauge would be on ALL the time. Does anyone know how to install this gauge and controller? It's so complicated. Shredder had a write up on it, but there isn't much detail. If anyone has a wiring diagram of the interior, that would be a lot of help!
So to clarify what I'm doing...The A/F gauge is already installed in the vent. I need to connect the gauge wires (which are ran down to the floorboard) to a 12V switched source and also to the wires of the controller (which also needs a 12V source). From there the controller runs through the firewall and down to my exhaust, where a sensor plugs into a hole. I just don't know what wires to tap into for power.

I used a 12V and switched 12V source in the small fuse box in the passenger kick panel. I used two add-a-fuses (buy at a local auto store). I used fuse #4 for the switched 12V and 13 or 16 I think for the constant.
I can check if you don't have a multimeter to find out which will work.

Yep, under the pass kick panel.
Get a fuse a tap at the Zone.
Choose a fuse thats on the ACC DELAY
circuit.
Use the owners manual to indicate which fuse.
Anything that operates after the key is turned off
and before the first door is opened is the ACC DELAY.
