No matter how far I park away from the stores entrance, there
is always someone else who has to park inches away from me.
Its like the Stang is a junk magnet.
Most dont care about their vehicles.
Its just a way to get from point A to point B
and when its worn out and full of 'acciDENTs'
its time to buy another one.

I don't park it in parking lots.....

But then I also don't drive it in the rain and it's never been off blacktop......

I found one on my front passenger fender the other day. I hate parking it here, but I don't really have a choice. I'm in college, by the way.

I have too many stories to tell on this subject, unfortunately. Back at the arthritis foundation car show in columbus, I was sitting in my car getting ready to leave, and some guy in a white hyundai pulled up and banged my door. I have never seen a hyundai get out of a parking lot that fast before, or since. The liscense plate was FA(Y/V) 5222, with that new scenic ohio plate.

Also, the weirdest thing to ever happen to my car is I came outside one time and my dog was trying to get on my hood! Fortunately there were no scratches.

Don't think it didn't cross my mind! I also had a Sophie's Choice moment when I considered picking up one kid to run after the cart, leaving the other one crying in the parking lot.

WOW! I have never heard of such a thing before. That must have been some super-fly pine cone. Like a giant pine cone from a Redwood tree or something. There is no way are regular pine cone, even if it fell from a 747, would have done a 2-3in damage.

And that squirrel must have been an Arnold Schwarzenegger of a rodent because he would have had to hurled that pine cone with such force that it would have never slowed down from air resistance hitting the pine cone "fingers."

Sorry to hear such a thing like this happening to your ride. I do hope your insurance company covers this sort of thing.

Hopefully, to bring some levity to the situation, I found this link:

Did the store pay for the damages? They are liable in this case.
Such a thing should have never happened at all.

At the risk of sounding sexist, i find 9 out of 10 times it's a careless woman... Maybe things come too easy for them, because my wife is the same way sometimes, takes her shoes off tries to put em on the dash...wtf!!! I freak if i see a mini van parked next to me, because you know the mom isnt concerned when the kid swings the door open and whacks your car. I'm always telling my children to be careful opening the car doors no matter what car we're in.
