Originally, the govt. was not gonna pay for our move. We were planning on selling just about everything but the cars. I know what we were getting quoted to move just a few boxes, so I cant even imagine what you paid for a full move.

The cheapest company quoted us $985 to move a 65 cubic foot box. Screw that!!

Its crazy the cars are so cheap. To bad you cant just pack them full of stuff.

Pack some snacks and a dvd player and just ride along in your car for the trip. Save some airfare.

I am in Germany right now, a piece of advice for you. Go ahead and start looking into German traffic laws. There is a fairly extensive class and test here to get your USEUR license here.

The test you will take to get your licenses is no less than 100 questions. And there not the BS easy ones like in the states. Also although it IS legal here in unrestricted zones of the autobahn to go as fast as you please. If you wreck at over 130km/h your insurance company will NOT pay out. So you might want to think about that before you try to make some 160mph pull. Also you can still be pulled over in the unrestricted zones for excessive speed for conditions (bad weather) etc.

If I were you, once you do get your licenses and take her out on the Autobahn, slowly work your way up and get used to how the car feels at speed. Some cars get light at high speed and thats when it gets dangerous. If the car feel unresponsive, floaty / light at high speed. THEN you might want to look into some type of aero work. Otherwise it's not needed. But even then there are things you can do that don't look as bad as a bench park....for the love of god if you do need one to keep it stable at 160+...please find something that doesn't look like total ***.

I was there from 2000-2006. The test did suck, but I got 100 on both tests (laws and signs). Hardest part to figure out was the damn right of way on some of the priority/non priority roads.
