$4,000 + $400 for the crossover + $675 for GT500 pumps + $700 or so for a tuner and tune = $5775 + shipping.

This isn't the auto kit but I'm sure it would be the same price and include shipping. Plus it's brand new with a parts warranty. You would want to ask for Steve in Ford Racing parts.

This is the kit you would want pricing for.

was he giving you the injectors also? The resale price on a incomplete, used kit goes way down.... I would be offering like 3-3500 on that.

doesnt sound too bad, you can get the gt500 pump setup for 675 I think, so under 5k for a used polished whipple shouldnt be too bad, so long as it inst beat to #### that is.

Sounds like a good deal. Just so you know you could run the BAP with that setup. You could upgrade the fuel system later.

Hi guys

Sorry been out of town for a few days, been googling to find out what a BAP is which is a Boost-a-Pump but what exactly is that please and how would it fit with my application? Also I was told I could use the stock pump till I get my GT500 installed at a later date, would this work or cause me problems? Anyone know how much power I would lose from running with the stock pump?

Thanks again

Stu

you dont loose any power. A boost a pump is a voltage modifer to the fuel pump driver module. It can ramp the voltage up to your fuel pump making it more efficent. Because of the level of performance (you didnt say its a high output kit IIRC) you can use the BAP to make your stock pump efficent enough to support it. I'm running a Saleen kit @9.5PSI with full exhaust and aggressive cams, when I data log I hit full duty cycle @6400 rpm. In other words, My BAP kept up with my mods till now, but if from here I were going to add any other perfromance, I would need pumps.

Get the pumps. It will save you money in the long run. My stock pump ran out of steam at 408 rwhp.

You were at 100% duty cycle on your pump with a BAP that low in HP?!? Seems pretty crazy.

I'm pretty well over that and havent had a problem with mine, and I dont even run mine all the way up.
