I'm pretty well over that and havent had a problem with mine, and I dont even run mine all the way up.
No bap, just the stock pump. I went from there to GT500 pumps

OIC. We were talkiing about him getting the BAP and you said to go with the GT500s it sounded like you had a problem with the BAP idea. Definatly, cant go with just a stock pump, but a stock pump with the BAP module for like $230 can keep up to a fairly high level of modification. Unless hes planning on putting more then 10Psi to the motor, he should be fine with a BAP.

Hi again

The kit is the HO intercooled version 550hp and the kit hasnt been tampered with so all pullies are the same.

So I couldnt run with just the stock pump for a short period till I bought a BAP or GT500 pump?

if its the HO kit, I think those come at like 10PSi right? You COULD run a BAP but you would be at the top end of what it could do, I would just get the GT500 pumps at that point.

Great ok thanks for your reply new pump it is.

I purchase a Diablo tuner for my 05 recently and from reading the other posts the Diablo isnt really for supercharger tunes and I would need a Dyno tune instead. As I have just purchased the Diablo should I return it unused and put $300 towards the new fuel pump as it doesnt sound like I am going to get much use out of the Diablo.

Any thoughts please ?

Thanks

It depends, how are you planning on getting it tuned? One tuner is just as good as the other, there just a device for loading and unloading tunes to the computer. You want to figure out who is gonna tune it, then see what device they can use.
