Use your ebrake and put it in reverse unless you want to risk totalling your car, ive seen it happen many times in real life and they wernt even on a hill.

I know to use my ebrake and leave it in gear... but the problem is my car has no ebrake. I just replaced the front cable because it was snapped and it still doesnt work so i gotta find time to replace the rears. Im not going to be parking on any hills. I just wanted to know if it can hurt your car by leaving it in hear even on the slightest of slopes....

It won't really hurt the transmission no, but it's just not safe and could end up hurting the exterior of the car.

I rarely use my ebrake in the winter. One time I tried parking on a slope without it, 20 minutes later it was 10 feet further down the driveway... so on big hills I chock the car or ebrake it.

So as everyone's been saying, you won't hurt the car so don't worry about it for now.

I was taught at a young age, "The transmission is not a kickstand!" Use the ebrake. If it dont work, get it fixed.

Whats gonna cost you more, fixing the ebrake, or fixing your car and who knows what else, when your car rolls away?

the proper way of parking any car on a hill is to shift to neutral, apply the handbrake, let it rest, put the car into gear or park.

If your cars handbrake isn't currently functioning, I would buy a heavy rubber wedge to bring with you just in case you do have to park on a hill. That way you can have some insurance it won't roll away.
