Default Hvae you ever wanted to drive your car off a cliff?

I'm getting to that point ! i should of never traded my 07 for me 2010. not only something rattles in the driver side door, and the passenger door slams metal to metal, and the front suspension squeks while turning, it now will not go into any gear without putting allof you weight on the shifter. it grinds going into 1st and 5th and yesterday it popped out of first when i went to take off at a red light. any guesses what could be causing that issue? my guess was something to to do with my clutch untill yesterday when it popped out of gear. now i have no idea

I had the same issue on my brand new 2011. Take it back to the dealer, it has to do with the shifter not being aligned with the transmission and it's not accepting the gear so it pops out. Basically, my car didn't have a first gear. Ford went ahead and replaced the whole transmission, clutch, shifter. Demand that as well from your dealer. Don't let them take apart your tranny and try to fix it.

I know the pain you feel and sometimes this crap happens. I know, trust me. So just be patient and take it in and let them try to fix it.

The time spend on here being pissed off, is time you're wasting not going to your dealer to have them fix everything. Lol it's as easy as going in and making sure they make everything right that should be

My 99 GT transmisson was a POS also. Hard to shift and all.

In general I would never buy another American car with a manual again. I just don't like American made manuals.

Instead of bitching about it, try utilizing your warranty and getting it fixed

You are describing issues I'd expect from a 10+ yr old car. The fact that it hasn't been back for service amazes me

its going on thursday. if it is a miss alignement with the shifter its self then theres a chance i could of messed up things in the transmission and give me problems down the road. i will demand a new drivetrain at that point

LMAO That's the way, judge literally millions of cars purely on the experiences you had with one defective example. What a Champ.
