Default Used 2010...

My local dealer has a used 2010 GT, red, stick, clothe interior.. for $24.6K... with 3K miles.. That car's msrp is $29K-$30K since it's not the premium..

I am thinking that's a tad too much for a used 2010... I don't know if I should entertain it or look for a new left over 2010... BUT I love the red ...

I bought my new 2010 for that much, same options except for it was grey. For the 2010's, or most new "leftover" vehicles in general, you're better off getting the new because of the better finance rates, incentives, and if necessary, 72 month financing.

Keep looking for new

Yeah, I am going to see a left over new 2010 today.. We'll see what I can get.. I just need to get an x plan pin code and I'd be set.

Hunt around and bargain. I wouldn't touch a new '10 for any more than $23-24K, tops.

Tell them you'll pay $19k for it. They didn't pay more than $17-18k for it on trade anyway so they will still make money. They will refuse you at first but keep trying them for the next month or so and you might wear them down. I tried this tactic with a dealer in my area when I was buying my focus and they kept telling me no way so after a month of me telling them they would never sell it for what they were asking for it and them refusing to sell it for what we both know it was worth, I gave up and instead just bought a new one when ford was offering their $3k incentives. A few weeks later I saw in autotrader they had lowered the price to what I had first said I would pay for it. Idiots...

Either way, $24.5k is a RIDICULOUS price on that car. A good $5k over its true value.

That's too much for a used 2010 GT Deluxe
