Default how much 0-60 increase with 4:10s?

Im curious on a 2005-09 GT what would be the 0-60 increase if you installed 4:10 gears? If its currently 5.1 seconds 0-60?

Oh; I can`t believe I am going to do this but I can`t help it.

It should DECREASE!!!!! Sorry I couldn`t resist.

What gear ratio were you running and auto or manual? Also what tires do you have? Need that info first.

+1,

With a manual probably decrease because you're going to have to shift alot faster especially if you're coming from 3.31's.

Also if you have stock tires or anything less than 275's your not going to be able to stomp it from a stop, so all this has to come into play also. I'm going from my stock 3.31s to 4.10s in about a week, and I know my traction issues are going to be greater with the new gears, but hey another excuse to buy a set of rims and tires ;]

When you learn to launch the car your 0-60 time should decrease. I went from 2.73`s to 3.55`s and my 0-60 dropped .48 sec. The 4.10`s will demand better driving from you so practice and add the driver mod to your car. That is the most satisfying mod you can add.

I currently have the stock 3:55 gears and the stock pirelli tires 275? that came on the car.

It should say 0-60 time decrease lol.

Could you get into the high 4s?

I dont understand why the 2011 GT has 3:15 gears.

My other concern is finding a good place to install gears.
