congrats on getting it done, sounds like you went through hell to get them but it was rewarding in the end

Thanks alke, I was wondering about that. Sounds like a good excuse to stop in Columbus for the night and head home the next day. Two 3 hr trips ought to get them seated good.

I really want to do the same but I want to wait to see where I'm stationed next so I know what drive to expect. I'd hate to move away from my city traffic to highway land and have 4.10s in.

heh, if it were me, I'd just lose the #. They were too busy to keep their appointment with you... maybe you're too busy to bother cancelling.

You know I was actually thinking the same thing, but I think it will burn them more knowing I flat out told them their prices are ridiculous and I found a shop I like better. I'm sure if I ran into the same problem at jdm they would've charged me double install.

Tough call... I still think they quoted you that price to make you go away...

Well I also e-mailed them using another name (random) and they again quoted me $600 without parts, but if they did do it for that reason than I am better off just not calling back. But say down the road I want something done from them I dont want to feel like an a$$ or get bad customer service

They may just not want those types of jobs then. $600 without parts is ridiculous...
