I know that it depends heavily on when they are producting some colors or packages. You may order a blue 5.0 with the california special package on OCT 1st and the next run for blue cars may not be till NOV 15th. Then the California specials may be at the end of that run so you wait a few more days. Im sure it all depends on when the factory has the right parts coming in and are planning a production run. Logistics is a b*itch sometimes and sometimes it works for you. Or you may order a car on OCT 1st and they do a search and find out that car is slotted for production already and it is just redirected to you and you have it in 5 weeks.

Yup, its sitting at Markham yard? In illinois. Rail yard i guess, some sort of union/trucking dispute, hell if i know.

But im not a happy ford owner right now.

You do not have enough posts to PM. And i would love someone to help me with my situation, but giving my VIN to someone over the net seems unsafe, especially with one post on there record.

I dont mean to get off topic here, but... I hope know one else has had to wait as long as i have.

I orderd the car 6/14, it got accpeted by ford to build on September 28?, and built on October 4th, where it left the plant by rail car. And supposedly thats where it sits. I call my dealer Once a week and i call ford customer service about every other day looking for a status update.

Oh and the ford customer service told me that it was schedualed for delivery on October 22nd. So thats out the window.. And every person i have talked to at ford customer service has been different and they all have told me there isnt anything they can do for me, and that i need to contact my dealer.............ARG..

Sorry for the rant guys, And to ford customer service, your going to have to PM me or figure out another way for us to contact.
