Put in the order on October 20th. They said 6-8 weeks. Just wondering how long it took for all of you to pick up your car at the dealer?

 

6-8 weeks is the generic response that ford dealers hand out. Mine took 14 weeks but it really varies overall. Some people are lucky and get one in 5-6 weeks, and some are unlucky like me and wait 14. It's a wonderful crap shoot welcome to the game.

 

i ordered mine sept 29th and got a call on friday sayin 3 more weeks possibly. factory ran out of nav units and theres over a week delay

 

What / how did you order it? What color and options?

 

I ordered it on the 23 OCT and dealer gave me a VIN and told me the confirmed build date is NOV 29th.

 

So far its 43 days and they didnt start building it. Went to the dealer this past week and they said 2 more weeks. I dont know why its taking so long. I only got a premium with the shaker 1000 :/

 

That's basically what I ordered.

 

You get a VIN? If you got a VIN which you should have by now....you can call a 1800 number and avoid the dealers lies.

 

It took Three Months for me to get my GT, almost to the day.
White with red interior, glass roof, fancy wheels and pedestal spoiler.
Oh,and it came with THE WORST manual trans on the planet at no extra charge.

 

i ordered... nav, 400a, 3.73, security... i got the VIN from the dealership today... whats the number i call to find out where my car is?
