The Shaker 1000 is another expensive option. I'd rather add subs and upgrade the stereo to my liking with aftermarket products for that much money.

The GPS is worth it the moment you need it. Driving a manual, I love the sync integration so I can truly operate the car hands free. I bought it for convenience and safety and I haven't regretted it. I did not want to deal with cables and smaller screens of a portable solution.

I think it's worth the money. Not only do you get the navigation, but you get Travel Link to help find the best places to buy gas, movies playing, get hotel rooms and food near your location, Weather with current Radar and ability to store up to 3000 songs on the hard drive. One trip we took all our CD'S and downloaded them as we drove, so now every time we travel we have all the music we love already in the car without shuffeling CD'S around. You can also download family pictures. Initially we didn't think it was worth the price, but we ended up with a car with it, and now wouldn't have it any other way. Not to mention the DVD player that no one seems to talk about. The downer to that is you can only watch it while the car is in park. lol

I had it in both of my honda accords and used it maybe 3x a year. I swore I would never spend money on that option again unless it already came with the package that I was getting and there was no way to delete it. I bought a $99 garmin a year ago when I bought my mustang and have used it twice since then. Depends on how important it is to you I guess. The integrated rearview camera into that nav screen is cool but you can even get that option integrated into your rearview mirror instead for a few hundred bucks as a Ford option.

nO, UNLESS YOU TRAVEL 20,000 MILES A
YEAR INTO PARTS UNKNOWN 50% OF THE TIME.
fricken caps lock
Would this be factory installed or (yuck)dealer(yuck) installed?
And I dont think it would add $2,340 to the resale value.
And I dont think its a desired option in a muscle car, resale wise.
Its just something else to break and then where are you?
Personal preference.
Do you make $200K a year?
Have a 3 million $$ 401K account?
If yes, then go for it.
Pushing $35K a year with overtime and 4 young kids?
I would bypass that option in lew of food and clothes for the kids.
More data to make a rational decision for you who seems to be on
the fence about this nav/no nav thing...
Makes me wonder what people did before GPS... Get lost a lot?
Most new phones have GPS apps and they dont cost $2,340.

I think it is definitely worth it. My buddy has it in his 2010 and it is the single best navigation/entertainment system I have ever seen... including aftermarket stuff. Rolls Royce can't even top this ****. It's that good. The screen is HUGE too, I wish I could somehow retro fit the whole thing in my car.
