True, I'll get UDP and a new tune and try and get a dyno sometime again.

No GTR uses a dynojet. If it was a mustang dyno, his numbers would be about 240 RWHP and about 255RWTQ.

if you have the FRPP tune, a custom tune from brenspeed or AM/bama or VMP, etc. will get you more power.

Yeah, I think that and some UDP will do me good

Which tune do you suggest?

i don't think you can go wrong with either brenspeed, VMP, or AM/bama.
i have a VMP tune and it works great.
i'm sure others will have their favorites.

Both cars were done on the same dyno so that is outta the question.

Your expecting too much man. The HP/TQ #'s you got are pretty decent. Get a real tune + UDP + some gears and enjoy the car. That will cost you about $1,000. The gears alone will feel like +30 RWHP, and the tune will really wake things up for you.

Otherwise, it really is time to up the ante to a blower if you want more HP

those are actually pretty good #'s. Not sure what you are basing your estimates off of, but for a stock motor + CAI + craptastic FRPP tuning...you did pretty good

The FRPP tune adds roughly 15 RWHP crank (basically the Bullitt tune) which is roughly 13 RWHP. So if I had to take a stab at your RWHP based on your mods I'd have to say about 280. Since the accuracy and repeatability of the dyno has known variance, it sounds to me like you're right on for your mods.

With a good custom tune you should be able to add about 8-10 RWHP. Toss in the UDPs and add about another 5-6.

That stuff is right on, in regards to FRPP calibrations. They are very conservative. You can do a better custom tune with a set of delete plates and/or underdrive pulleys, and you'll be throwing down just under 300RWHP or just over, depending on dyno and temperatures, etc.

Let me know if there's anything Bama can do for you!

I have a FRPP CAI/tune and Roush extreme exhaust. I know that it is probably FRPP that is hurting me. But still, a friend who has no engine mods dynod with higher numbers, so didn't think the tune would make me LOOSE power.
Those are pretty good numbers. I have a bullitt and my stock dyno numbers were 275 rwhp and 285 rwtq. My stock 1/4 mile best time was 13.69 @ 105 mph. With the CMDP and tune my numbers were 289 rwhp and 307 rwtq.
