I'm going to inspect mine real good before I start my install. I might even pull it out of the box tomorrow.

Amazed that you are having so much bad luck, this kit is really good quality, easy to install. Hope you get these issues sorted!!

Hmmm. Good thing I'm running across this thread. I haven't installed mine yet. Got all the parts laid out though. I will pay close attention to bolt assignments and precheck the bore depth on that threaded passage for the FEAD bracket on the lower manifold. Man I hate your having problems. Hope you get it resolved.

Hey timbo, I'm going to get a good look at my manifold either today or tomorrow. How many gallons of Zerex G-05 did you get? I think I'm going to get 3 gallons..All I need to do my install is the Zerex and I'm still waiting to get my Hydraulic motor back for my lift.. It will make it easier when under the car installing the intercooler radiator, and nose removal. I should be starting tomorrow..I also got my daily driver running like a champ, so if the stang is down a few days, no biggie.. I gotta go and do some errands now, I'll check back later.

Roy got ya covered on that one.

Hey Roy, I'm going to replace that o-ring for that coolant pipe that runs under the intake to the block fitting behind the waterpump. Thing is, I just got back from the Ford dealer here and tried helping them look up the oring but they can't get a part number. They even printed me the parts blowup showing the coolant tubes and where the one tube goes to the back side of the waterpump in the block but it doesn't list an oring. They have a great computerized parts manual too so we're stumped. I can't even find a number for it in the service manual. Yet the service manual tells you to replace the oring when reinstalling the coolant tube to the block. It's crazy! Anyone ever purchased that oring? I'm not gonna risk reusing a 4 year old o-ring on this job.

I bought two also, then after driving it a couple of times I had to buy a third and add more in. It really all depends on how much drains out. Mine drained like a sumbitch. I bought the pre mixed stuff.
