Sounds odd for the speed limiter. It should go *****-to-the-wall until it hits the speed limit as opposed to crawling slowly up another 10 MPH. I still say try a different tune.

Still, I can only assume that your O.D. simply can't overcome the drag which seems odd. And siggy has a good point; turn off O.D. and leave it off and see where you're at at redline. If you can make the 120 MPH range, then it's your 5th gear. When I run her up, I usually don't shift into OD until about 120-130 MPH. With my 3.55's, that's at about 5500 RPM. I don't redline (currrently 6500 RPM) in 4th until about 144 or so. But then, 5th gear won't add much due to the drag.
I got 4.10s to make it accelerate quicker as I told myself when am I really ever going to do 130+. It does accelerate a lotttt quicker since I cant get traction from 0 - 40, but I think its the fact that it doesnt downshift into 4th when I punch it and stays in 5th. It just doesnt seem to be in the right gear at all. I am going to try taking it out of o.d and running up to almost redline than pressing the o.d button

It does, but its gotta have more than 110mph with that gear...sounds like there is some kinda cork on it. But then again it ain't all lollypops and rainbows when u switch that gear, you gotta give up something to get something.

I know I gave up topend for acceleration when I got the gears, but the car has to have more than 110. It just pissed me off how long it took to get from 100 to 110, made me feel like I wasnt in a mustang. I think I am going to try downshifting out of o.d than if that doesnt work I am going to contact bama

Don't you have other Bama tunes? Even a custom 87 tune should do it. But also check to see if you can access the speed limiter on the tuner and see what it's set at. Brenspeed set mine at some ridiculous # like 200 just so it wasn't in the game.

yeah i am going to try the 93 performance tune instead of the race tune and see what happens, and also like you said check the speed limiter.

Can you reach redline in the lower gears without issue? IOW, is it a RPM or MPH problem? If it's RPM, it could be a weak fuel pump.

We'll assume you're running 93 octane with your tune, because if not, the knock sensors may be cutting in.

I have 4.10's and mine wont start slowing down the way you're referring to until about 130 or so... highest i've been is about 150-155 on a "safe" 4/5 line highway and no traffic
