normal with 4.10s?!?

^True that. Have you gotten an updated bama tune since you have put the 4.10's in? I was very disappointed with my 4.10's until I got the revised tune. I mean, it's still going to be slow past 100. The S197's 4th gear is so damned long.

I will look into getting the revised tune, but I found the issue. O/D AKA SLUG MODE!! I was on my way home and found an open spot, so I decided to pop it out of o/d like a few people said. I was at 60, poped it out of o/d, punched it & it downshifted itself into 3rd, and 90 was there like nothing. I am going to contact bama about the shift points, cause past 75ish it doesnt seem to know to downshift by itself.

First question.
How do you know you are going 100MPH?
Speedo? GPS?
Second question.
Did you change the ratio in the computer
when you went to 4.10s?
Third question.
What RPMs is this 'face falling' happening at?

This seems to be a common thing with A/T Mustangs.
Mine does the exact same thing; even with all the mods i have below. Kicks *** until 95-110mph where it just sits there until you run out of road. This is one of the reasons I got myself a supercharger, but then I read it will do the same thing still, only with more of a change of the engine blowing up.
I haven't tried it, but I've read you can reach 120mph+ more easily if you disable OD.
Maybe a "full lockup" torque converter could also help...?

I know I stated it already, but the problem is solved.... I'm not bashing on autos, but I will never buy another one if im in the market for a performance vehicle. I poped it out of o/d today at 80mph cause a punk in a maxima was pissing me off, and just punched it. It dropped down to third, hit 95, jumped back into 4th and climbed all the way until 125 when I let off.... Moral of the story, O/D does nothing but make your exhaust sound like ****, and slow you down lol..... 0o0 and save a little gas

I solved the issue, well found a solution to it, but I used my speedo and yes it was recalibrated when I installed the 4.10s with my sct from bama... and it was happening at 3000rpm in o/d
