Default Tune Question

Yes, there are many tuner questions on here but I could not find an answer to this question while using the search feature.

So, my Mustang is an automatic. When you get the race tune from americanmuscle, is it setting the car to shift when it reaches the power band?

They SHOULD be adjusting your shift points to hold a higher RPM and shift more aggressively.

You can have them tailor the shift points to your liking. Find out from them what their default settings are and decide if that suits you. That's the whole point of the word "custom" in custom tune.

Chris Rose from AM visits the forums regularly, so he may chime in soon. If not, give AM a call to discuss.

And how!
Love my Brenspeed tuned auto
The tune will stretch out the shift points according to your throttle input and stiffen the shift to get rid of auto-lag between gears.
It is only then that you realize...I have a f'in muscle car!
Like anything "custom", the more input you provide your tuner with what you want the better the tune. Trust me, you will love!
