Default Help with temp sender

Does anyone know where Ford hid the temp sender? I got the Autometer 3 gauge pillar gauge pod and installed Pro-comp series oil pressure, coolant temp and voltage guages. I had no trouble locating the stock oil pressure sender and was able to install a brass T fitting and install the oil pressure sender however I cannot find the stock coolant temp sensor, nor can I find a place to put the one I have for the Autometer sender.
Does anyone out there have any ideas??

Default RE: Help with temp sender

Ford is using a head temp sensor and not a water temp sensor. It is located under the plastic intake manifold towards the back of the motor on both sides. Remove the intake and youll find them, according to the ford service manual.
