I LOVE the Challenger it's a super sexy car but the thing is a pig weight was. Really ashame. I heard they are redesigning it in order to make it lighter. A Challenger that weights 3800 pounds would smoke.
I assume she means if you manage to earn the money yourself. Which at the rate an average person saves money, won't happen in a couple years.

I was wondering, since the name of the thread asks if the Coyote itself has problems.
Personally, I have not had anything wrong with mine, over 5K miles on the Odo, and also, I have yet to read of anyone else with problems with their Coyotes.
But I admit, I only read what is happening in MF, and very little on other sites.

Why the hell does the Challenger weight so damn much for? Even the Camaro Id like to see a little lighter.
Well forums know everything

The challenger weighs so much because its a physically larger vehicle. Its only a few hundred pounds more than the camaro yet seats four comfortably and has a massive trunk. It all depends on what you want. Cruiser, get the challenger. Light(er) and fun in the twisties, get a mustang. I can't see any reason to buy a camaro.

Also, I have not heard of any issue with the 5.0.

Theoretically the Challenger COULD go lighter if they built
an all aluminum engine.

That aside.... just because you see one video on youtube
or one thread on a forum where a guy's engine goes bad does not mean there is something wrong with the new engines.
One or two engines having something quirky happen out of THOUSANDS is nothing to be surprised at.
You have no clue what the hell someone could have been doing
when that engine went either.

Often people do not tell the whole story if they have done
something stupid.

So far the new 5.0 has earned nothing but praise and good words.

I probably wasn't paying enough attention but I didn't hear the guy in the video say anything about the engine. He just said that the car was messed up. Like I said though, I might have missed it.

Love my 2011 GT. The only problem I have noticed is the starter sticks sometimes. Kind of like it is staying engaged when starting. It only does it rarely. If it continues or gets worse I will have it replaced. The GT is a real blast to drive. No, not a 0-80 in 3 sec car. A 0-60 in a few ticks over 4 seconds car.

The first thing I thought about when that video started was the movie Napolean Dynamite.
