Hi Stockstangs,

My name is Deysha from Ford Customer Service. Your Mustang is equipped with an assisted cranking system that assists in starting the engine. You can find this info in your owner manual under the “Driving” section “Starting the engine” on page 201. If this is not what you are experiencing, contact your local dealership and make an appointment so they can diagnose your concern. Also, if you need any further assistance or have any other questions, please do not hesitate to private message me. Hope this helps.

If you don't think there are mods for the challenger, you haven't been to www.mopar.com

Also go try the 2011 when it starts showing up at dealerships, the suspension is all new and the handling difference is night and day.
I wasnt expecting a "performance" car. I know its more of a cruising car. But I didnt like the way it drove, floaty, I didnt like the size, huge, and I didnt like the shifter, just wrong feeling. In neutral, the shifter is angled towards the driver and TO ME it just felt awkward. And the clutch had to be let out almost completely before the car would start to pull away.

The size I could easily get used to. But when you take all of those complaints that I personally have, and then add the price to it, suddenly I dont like it nearly as much as I did. Its sad cuz I think the exterior is beautiful.

And just compare the sheer size of the new generation to one of the old ones, they are bigger in every way.
Yea I hate all the crap they put in cars now. the government wants mandatory backup cameras in cars now. That will jack up the prices even more. All the dealers around here only have GT premiums that are near fully loaded and pushing near the 40k range.

Im not lazy and don't need a backup camera or the other bs.

If you look on youtube a lot of people get 0-60 under 5 seconds with the Rt. Even as low as 4.7 seconds with a tune.

That being said I'd still take a new 5.0 over them.

What does any of this have to do with engine problems with the 5.0?

It doesn't. If you want examples of that check the post I made earlier with a video and a link.

The tuning requirements for a challenger are much more in depth. Which makes it hard and takes much longer to do. As im sure that has not changed.

Thats what i was referring to if u would have read the post

You also said there wasn't as much of a mod community or that the car was meant for performance, which is what I was replying to.

Just because it takes longer to do doesn't mean people don't do it either.

Might as well move this thread to OT, its got no chance
