Another "what's it worth" thread
Work may have me moving overseas so the sad day has come to consider selling my Mustang. I'm having a hard time pricing it right because the V6 listings muck up the numbers.
It's a 2008 GT deluxe 5spd with 51k miles on it with a 100k warranty. It's in extremely good shape. IUP dash, steering wheel and shift ****. 4.10 gear, SCT tune, FRPP springs, Steeda rear sway and fresh GT500 takeoffs with 90% tire left. I'm guessing I can list it for about 17k?
Skimming listings for 05-09 GT's, dealers still ask like $20k+ I really doubt they're getting it.
Sorry if this topic is a tad annoying.

Probably $18K or $19K. It will largely depend on your local market. You are in Texas so it should be good for around that. Do a Kelly Blue book valuation on your car as a start and go from there based on condition and addons. Don't get too crazy on the value of your add-ons though. Most people don't put much value on them unless they want them on the car to begin with.
Also leave room for negotiation. Have a minimum number in mind but be prepared to deal with someone who wants to talk you down. That is why dealers are showing them for $20K+, they know how a lot of buyers think.

Local dealers had 08-09 with 13,000-25,000 miles for $21,000-$25,000 and I walked away because they would not budge from the price. Cars had minor flaws in the finish, otherwise were clean. The 13,000 miler sold the next day but no idea on the $$.

Dealers that don't budge do so because they took a high dollar hit on the car to begin with and are looking to pass on their mistake to a new customer. They are not in the business to lose money. However, for 13K miles, $21K doesn't sound that bad.
