UDP=under drive pulleys. the accesorries on the belt dont work as hard, so maybe a 5-10 hp gain
CMCV=charge motion control valves. delete plates will yield another 5-10 hp

these 2 are small gains, but minimal cost. maybe $100 each.
i think these with a tune/CAI should get close to 40 rwhp. and gears are great too. 4.10's for NA, 3.73 for SC.

another suggestion:
tuner/custom tune, off road x or h pipe. if you dont have to pass emissions inspection.
eliminating the cats will get a small hp gain, maybe 5 rwhp.
but it will sound louder. and louder is always better!

UPD is Underdrive Pulley. Not sure what CMCV stands for as my car never came with them.

**Whoops. Many beat me to it and I never refreshed the page.

Im with getting gears, I had a chance to ride in a stock 99 GT that had 4.10 gears and it was scary as hell, but fun.

I agree, a tuner and 4.10 gears first. That will be 1000.00 well spent. And then later on when she has a little more money, i would say get the underdrive pullies and a 1- piece aluminum driveshaft.

In Washington state, they unfortunately require emissions testing, an OBD reading. I cannot remember what else they do, but I think if they get an on-road cat-backs, they should be okay.
