To each his own on wheel choice, its subjective as hell. Those particular ones make the stock brakes look TINY.

Nice rims, to bad the rear tires aren't just a tad wider.

1" front/ 1.5" rear lowered suspension would make it look sick

I really am not hating, but I can't understand getting a performance vehicle and removing a huge chunk of its performance capability.

I totally agree. There are guys who do ridiculous stuff to their cars and yet they are stupid enough to believe that their massive mods do not affect performance.

Case in point:

As for 22in rims? I doubt they will kill actual performance, but with such little tire sidewall on them, you would really have to pay attention to what you drive over. And pot holes are an absolute no-no.
Heck, I even get concerned about just 20in rims!

I'm just playing around with this car till I get a 5.0 in a year or 2. I wouldn't dare put anything bigger than 19's on it. I don't even race the car so it's not really a concern of mine. But I am leaning towards cai and tune to make up for the slight loss in performance, maybe some gears.

I just got a set of 255/45/18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires for less than $500 delivered (after $80 mail-in rebate). The Tire Rack still has them at a great price... $130 each and an $80 mail-in rebate if you buy 4 (shipping is usually around $60).

BTW, the 255/45/18 is only .2" shorter than the factory 235/50/18 tire and looks great on the 18 x 8.5" factory wheels - no tire bulge! This is the size tire that should have come on these rims from the factory!
