kill switch

Don't sweat it Ace. Sometimes people on here rub others the wrong way, even if it wasn't intentional. There are plenty of things our manuals don't cover, and I wouldn't even begin to think this topic was something that it would. Part of posting here is to gather knowledge past what our manual offers. A manual might say its there, but user experience will tell us how well it works, if it tends to fail, if there are better alternatives, etc.
I for one believe if someone is going to respond with a "read the manual" post, it would be helpful to say something like "The user manual has some information about this function which might be helpful. In section . . . whatever." But again, I come here for things the manual doesn't tell me. Sometimes that means putting up with sarcasm, or worse.

Way to be a sarcastic dick man. I read that manual page to page, even upside down during the first day I got my 'Stang. Sorry if I don't remember every little detail from the book, I have LIFE to deal with, and lately it hasn't been too damn great. Got told 2 days before Christmas that I have cancer at 16 years old and that my only sister has it too, my memory has been pretty bad lately dealing with the stress. Excuse me for not remembering my Mustang's manual.
whatever.
whatever.

Thanks for linking this; I was looking in the wrong parts of the manual.
But this picture of the foot well where your left knee rests next to the hood release speaks millions.

Don't know of any write ups but I installed a kill switch on my previous car, it was a convertible and I did it so I wouldn't have to put the top up every time I went into a store.
It was a GM product, I got the wiring diagram out of a manual and figured what wire went to the starter when the key was turned. I cut the wire as it exited the steering column and extended it to the center console where I installed a hidden toggle switch in a recessed bracket.
I don't know if you can do it on our cars because of the SJB, maybe 157db will chime in and answer that electrical question?
