anti theft normally. Im not sure how exactly you go about installing one but normally its a switch inline with the ignition system so that when off you cant crank the car.

It was a GM product, I got the wiring diagram out of a manual and figured what wire went to the starter when the key was turned. I cut the wire as it exited the steering column and extended it to the center console where I installed a hidden toggle switch in a recessed bracket.
I don't know if you can do it on our cars because of the SJB, maybe 157db will chime in and answer that electrical question?
finally someone gets what i was getting at, no fuel line, no racing aplication, just a starter kill switch, haha, what i need to know is what wire out of our steering wheel column it is.

Not sure but the FUEL KILL SWITCH is for reset use only?!?. Upon crash the fuel gets cut off and this button turns fuel back on.

I too want to wire a kill switch. Bought the switch kit from KILLSWITCH website on ebay, wired it into the Relay at top of Clutch arm and GUESS WHAT... car starts in both positions of the switch. WASTE OF TIME!!! Heard about the large harness along passenger side kick panel...WOULD A WIRE IN THAT HARNESS WORK FOR KILL SWITCH use. This is a kill switch to deter theft, has nothing to do with race fuel and NHRA issues. Thanks. John, PLYMOUTH, Michigan. (Newbie)

it's in the steering wheel column. Look for the write up for the Push-Button start on AmericanMuscle.com

I believe the white wire is the one it tells you to cut.
Anyways, whichever wire it tells you to cut, that's the one you put the toggle on.
