Cannot help with the technical aspects. Can show how ours is hooked up (pics only). For NHRA compliance, should be located somewhere on rearmost part of car's exterior and marked as "ON"...."OFF"

there already is one located in the footwell on the drivers side

Interesting, I had no clue our cars had such a thing.
I will have to check out the Owner's manual to see exactly where it is at and how to operate it.

Way to be a sarcastic dick man. I read that manual page to page, even upside down during the first day I got my 'Stang. Sorry if I don't remember every little detail from the book, I have LIFE to deal with, and lately it hasn't been too damn great. Got told 2 days before Christmas that I have cancer at 16 years old and that my only sister has it too, my memory has been pretty bad lately dealing with the stress. Excuse me for not remembering my Mustang's manual.
