technique advise

Thanks to all for their input. I took a little of everyones advise and applied it to my own method. In the end, Im very happy with it. However, no project is ever perfectly executed and mine was no exception. I managed to drop three out of four screws into the holes in the trunk deck and had to run to the local hardware store to buy replacements (I have since only recovered one of the three). Also, one of the holes (out of four total) did not match up despite the drivers side hole being slotted for lateral movement. The far left (passenger side) hole did not line up and right now does not have a screw in it. Disappointing but not really a show-stopper. If I had to do this again, I would also reinforce the underside with additional 3M tape and add to what thespoilerstore had put on there.
Im not at all upset that the "gurney flap" is not present or painted black. To me this is very over-rated and provides nothing other than a conversation starter.
By the way. I absolutely HATE my factory rims. When money allows, I going to buy new. I have 3:73 gears on hand that need to be installed and want to lower it in the future.
