Looks good! What part of the process did the LA Looks hair gel come into play? That must be why it's so shiny.

Sweet. But too bad it has that big defect in the last pic.... what looks like an ugly gomer with a cell phone camera. Must be the lighting...

BTW, the toothpaste tube is missing the cap (3rd pic).

The reason why I ask is because a body shop guy tole me that the clear has to interact with the base some to cause adhesion to prevent the clear pealing off (if not now, in a few years down the line).
I applied about 30-45 minutes after I applied the paint. so it was dry but not stone dry.

Well, it looks better this way. I am planinng to get the extentions and paint them as well. After my intake manifold and cai and a nice detailing job, engine should look pretty good. I cant wait for winter be over.
