IAT sensor wiring

When relocating the IAT sensor, is it necessary to pull the pins from the MAF sensor or can the wires just be cut and crimped/soldered? also which pig tale wire goes to which maf sensor wire? does it matter?

Cutting the wires is fine; just make sure you cut the right two.

so I do not need to take the pins out of the sensor? and does anyone know which pigtail wire goes to which maf wire?
