Mine is safe in the garage, it's my DD so I have been couped up in the house since Tuesday. North Texas just isn't prepared for this much ice, especially with no thaw day until Friday.

I just attempted to shovel my steps and walk way to the front door. That was an epic fail. Nothing but solid ice.

I'm going to attempt getting the ice off the car tomorrow during the day with the sun out.. I have a feeling it's still going to be epic fail.

I got a better pic of my girl. Yeah I'm not going to be able to get that car out for awhile, probably not until Saturday when we get above freezing here.

A mere 'dusting'..........at least to those of us that have experienced the Tug Hill region of NY State (77" of snow in 24hrs back in Jan of '97)

being in north texas we got quite a bit again, not as bad as the christmas blizzard we had in 09, but fairly close to it. fortunately we closed so no one had to worry about figuring out how to get to work. so i got the last couple of days off with pay . can't really complain other than hating being cooped up in the house the past couple of days. currently we do plan to open tomorrow. the main roads near my house aren't to bad now, some snow and ice but fairly clear. will remain to be seen just what i encounter in the morning though.

when i recieved word that we would be working tomorrow i was told that we would open at normal hours and that the parking lot would need to be cleared.

im still wondering who exactly they intend on clearing the parking lot and how.

Yea I just tried to shovel my walkway and driveway. It's just solid ice. I am stuck here. This really sucks.
