Seperatist.....
Yeah kinda like that. Lol
I haven't had anyone really rag on my car or me because I have a V6. This forum is actually good about not bashing due to engine size, there are a few rules about it I think. Anyone who does say anything about them is usually new to the site and needs to be ignored anyway.
My only advice is don't let a few people opinions get to you, like previously stated, you get immature people everywhere.

Why read into negative comments of others? Ignore them and move on. Most of us are here for information and to "drool" over the beauty of others mustangs. It's a shame there are people that don't understand that forums are intended to help fellow owners and showcase your ride. Stick around long enough and you'll see most of us are good people.
My 3rd car is a vette, nice C4 by the way!
I too prefer a v8 over asixxer but if I had my choice, I would buy Two Stangs: a Shelby for the supercharged power and weekend street terror, and a 3.7L six for DD. You simply cannot beat getting 31mpg unless you get a 4 banger!
I´m just not seeing it anyhow. Other than 1 comment here for the sake of a joke, and the purist thread which was here and directed not as a jibe, but as an opinion towards the collectors item value of the car in the future.
I´ve not seen any drive-by douche´ings of late regarding cylinder elitism; v6 section of the forum or otherwise. Perhaps I just have my blinders on.
And it´s ¨separatist¨ btw.
Other than that really, with the amount of people on here, some which only occasionally post, there´s always going to be:

I am on 4 or 5 Mustang Forums, I have heard everything that can be said about the V6 VS V8 Debate, the 05-09 VS 10+ Debate, Have been asked why I got a V6 and not the V8. All on the net
Real life I pulled into a local Advance Auto, a Grabber Orange Shelby pulled in next to me and all he did was comment about the Grabber Blue, where I got the wheels ECT... 35 minutes later there were 4 Mustangs sitting side by side and nothing was said of the engine size except by the guy with the all stock 5.0 Fox Body, and that comment was "I think I am still the slowest here".
I normally ignore all the engine debate, although I did pop off a little in your Purist thread.
But Remember, it used to be the Small Block VS Big Block debate years ago, and the Big Block guys where always better according to them

Problem is bigger other places than here. Mostly it's because mustangs run a gammut of prices so you get guys that are older and hopefully mature with more expensive cars and then you get young guys prone to act silly simply because that's what kids do. Sadly there are some asshAts in all age groups. Try the ot or ss forums if you really want to see venom. The vettes all tend to be more expensive typically meaning an older crowd
That is true! The debate raged over who had a 351 and who had a 390 (or bigger) engine.
Then big blocks totally disappeared from pony cars altogether.
I would be totally stoked if Ford designed a big block version of our modulars
I would love to see what kind of crazy power a factory produved 7.0L big block DOHC TiVCT direct injected with fully performanfe mapped tune would do. You would see no less than 1000 BHP crank!
